       @sophon @cafkafk @sun_eater OSINT and statistics:collect any historical data that can be used to approximate geolocation (anything that mentions time and/or weather is usually a good place to start, or any pictures that contain brands/products/architecture), and then after that it's a process of elimination through demographics (age, gender, political affiliation, work, potential shopping habits, potential routines, etc.).one unexpected source for narrowing down geolocation is git commits: not only does it track commit time (so working/sleeping habits) but it also includes timezone information.

       @kallisti easy: you piss off enough people they're gonna gang up and beat the soykaf out of you.if everyone was a narcissist, they'd all be easy to piss off and the more willing they are to gang up on you as a result.then we'd just end up in a perpetual state of everyone ganging up on each other and trying to kick the soykaf out of each other and nothing else will get done.

       @cafkafk my knee-jerk reaction to bullsoykaf is "you can't be this stupid" when in reality it should be "i cannot be stupid enough to engage with this bullsoykaf"like, it's entirely too cynical sometimes but it's the only thing that makes sense against people who are actually terrible
