@jens @Gargron @Chartodon AFAIK Misskey has a feature that unfurls fedi URLs so the post looks like a quote while keeping compatibility with clients and instances that don't understand this. Wondering if some Mastodon fork also has this.

@duponin People joke, but S-expressions are way better than JSON and YAML for data storage (not sure about XML due to typing).Just the LISP tradition of providing a better solution decades before and having people forgetting them.

@stuxFirefox is a easy win, however if you don't like integration with Mozilla services and want an extra step towards privacy, there is also the LibreWolf fork.

@grammargirlThese ~artists~ are the people who created the trend of scammy thumbnails, "put an arrow on it" or a face with a dumb expression or so many other ways of misrepresent the video for a cheap click. I can't feel sorry when I see their market being eaten by AI.And once GenAI takes over the entire process, the next wave of sh*tty thumbs will be indistinguishable among different publishers, completely destroying their value and disincentiving the trend. That will be nice to see.

@ActionRetro Well, accessible batteries, replaceable/upgradable memory, good internal ventilation, and speakers that do not destroy themselves if not controlled by software (e.g. speakersafetyd) are well missed ... However HP laptops were (and still) pretty icky.
