@7666 there was a pretty good culture there of trying to make solid products, and user data was only discussed in the context of either generating actionable info for the user or worry around protecting it securely. There was a requirement for the device being functional for minimum two weeks (without recharge) out of the box regardless of whether you owned a phone

@7666 also, there was an extreme importance given both to battery life and presenting an always visible clock face, which resulted in the use of transflexive displays on the watches. I havent used any of the new devices since they have added OLED, but it was a bit surprising when it happened. Apologies for rambling, eom

@futurebird just curious, is it possible to safely keep a colony with the seasons artificially offset, through heatlamps and AC? not saying that one should or advocating, just wondering if it is even feasible for an individual without harming them
