Today is a sad day. PC Engines, Swiss manufacturer of high quality embedded x86 boards for 20 years, has announced the phase-out plan for their latest product and that there are no plans for a successor :(https://www.pcengines.ch/eol.htm

@ledeuns @galdor ah wow, I didn't even know them. The boards look pretty cool though.I recently looked through the 3mdeb website. They used to develop the firmware for PC Engines and it appears they have more customers of the sorts, for example this: https://eu.protectli.com/But at a first glance it looks to me like they might be buying the boards from a 3rd party, not developing them themselves...

After @jacqueline told me it was possible, I tried 3d fdm printing a keycap for my mnt reform trackball. Went surprisingly well!Getting it to fit was a bit fiddly and not the sort of process I enjoy, but it sure beats not having just the exposed switch...
