@ajsadauskas @dwildstr @benni @futurebird There actually is a historical and pseudo-practical case to be made for the duodecimal (base-12) counting system.You can count to twelve with just one hand, for example, which was an eye opener for me… Finger counting (base-10) suddenly seemed so rudimentary.(Disclaimer: I’m a metric system loving, continental European, analytical philosophy schooled, pure mathematician.)
