@stux Nah, Putin can just shut it off. Try thinking about somebody who doesn't want the EU to have the _option_ of using Russian gas. Somebody who isn't in control of either end of the pipeline. Somebody who watched Germany--yesterday--express interest in a political resolution and resumption of gas deliveries. Somebody with deep-water demolition capabilities, and the ability to locate deep-water pipelines? 🤔

@HunDriverWidow @gloriaoils Birth rate took a hit, but we're going to have to wait a while to see what the overall trend is.In a related subject, I know a _ton_ of (vaxxed) people with a whole wild range of ailments. I predict the medical industry is going to have a huge surge in revenue--so big, they'll probably start working to hide it.Plus excess deaths. Man, what a bunch of dreary lists....

So @CSB you're saying that the EU is a _feature_, because although their policies are destroying societal viability, they let you scramble towards the remaining high points as the ship sinks? Do most EU citizens consider it inconceivable that their government would ever prioritize their own citizen's interests, and not force endless crises upon you?

@Autumn My big hesitation with Habitat for Humanity is their focus on traditional suburban home technology. That stuff is _rigged_ to keep you on a consumer treadmill as all the stuff breaks, wears out, needs trimming, heating/AC, ....If H4H developed and then implemented a sub-$200/year design center for resilient housing, the building industry would flip out and the rigged building codes would be immediately weaponized.
