       @luke Just as you said that viewers become inspired as they hear their own contemplations and impressions firmly formulated by another person with perceived status, likewise you became enticed by Orthodox philosophy. Perceived status is important for this inspiration or enticement to immediately take effect, but ideally it shouldn't be that way.We should strive to become indifferent to whether we sense truth in what is spoken by an influencer or a stranger, an established denomination or a NRM.

       @z @supreme_neet It is precisely this theme of the harm of fantasy that is covered in my most favorite and recommended to all children's and grown-ups' book: The Neverending Story. To this day I get goosebumps of enchantedness as I think of it. But notably the novel seeks to instruct the reader how to be wisely moderate in one's fantasy as to be able to draw real-world inspiration, experience and motivation for factual works. It's nothing short of amazing in its use of metaphors and allegories.
