@helpersHi there,working on moving old friendica sites from a shared hosting to a VPS, I ran into the following problem I can't find a solution for. This actually happens with one 2021.04 instance but not with another (anymore), so I'm crosschecking all the settings but can't find how to solve this. By contrast the older "Vier" theme is pretty simple. It doesn't really load anything new. Which makes it faster loading and more stable, or at least less prone to breaking on a stressed server.Which is why I decided to use "Vier" as the base for my new theme.Sry if this comes over like repeatedly but all this sounds to me like best could be starting the friendica theme thing from scratch. Even more if the documentation isn't as it should be and we just found our staatl. geprüft und annerkannten Friendica Front-end Developer CEO.How about creating a inical teared down completely minimalistic friendica core theme and mount on top of it a addon system of themes @randompenguin?Is that possible, maybe even reasonable and faster than trying to work thru old not properly documented theme stuff?

Ultimately there is the "basic attention coin" [BAT] to create kinda structure that resembles this request, or idea, of yours @futurebird. Only that it is not restricted to the fedi, and well, of those second (or third) generation blockchain "scams".It's incorporated in the brave browser, a derivate of Chrome, that actually already had his scam incident .. so there is that.

@futurebirdSry, this might sound a bit harsh but the point of view expressed is kinda childish, to direct. In any case all of this are metaphors and "the church", the priests by enacting all that precious ritual around it are actually just transforming it into some sort of total pagan heresy of symbolic idolatry.Interesting in the case of a specific object could be the concept of quantum physics.
