       @bradysflungtablet yes, for years. my small instance defederated with them a long time ago from experience. best way to get an idea of instances you may not want to federate with, look at the ‘about’ pages on mastodon.social and mstdn.social. they are up to date and very good. otherwise, build your own list with patience and experience. both options are valid. @Gargron @stux

       Watching my small instance at https://mastodon.roocita.com self destruct (tootctl self-destruct - a clean exit from the Fediverse). It was a good, but extremely small, instance for ~4 years. I feel like I should pour out some alcohol to honor it as it continues to de-federate....#mastoadmin #linux
