Giving the president broad immunity from criminal prosecution when the sitting president is hostile to your agenda has got to be one of the dumbest decisions ever made.Right now, the president could easily say that they need to take drastic measures to defend the constitution from internal threats. Even if you're Christian, don't give Trump/MAGA an inch on religious freedom.They aren't going to enshrine a nebulous Christianity as the state religion. When the state gets enmeshed in religious matters, specifics of denomination and doctrine start to matter a whole lot and the form of Christianity you currently follow is almost certainly going to face genuine persecution.They're going to put in place the Trump/MAGA version of Christianity, not any existing version.

I just realized that the experience I have giving tech interviews must be more or less the experience that someone attractive has while dating.There's a constant stream of candidates who really want this to work out, even if just for a little while. On my end it's an only occasionally stressful experience, focused around evaluating the overall potential of each candidate and looking out for red flags to avoid a potentially messy relationship.

It hasn't happened before and isn't about to start happening.
