@gazelle my roommate is pretty good about respecting my snack space, but that doesn't make this any less of an excellent idea

@fribbledom seriously? I'm on discord, full disclosure, but even a mook like me realizes that their sharp, ad-free interface is most likely funded by the most egregious sales of user data. mozilla is losing a significant amount of cred with this one. It's not as if there aren't plenty of great alternatives.

@socalledunitedstates I read the graphic novel for the first time long after becoming an anarchist, and after reading it I was honestly kind of glad I had read it after my early 20s. I found the story to be good and compelling, but I feel like the messaging could have potentially made my early anarchist opinions even edgier than they already were. That said, stuff that gets the word out to a broad audience, even if imperfectly, likely deserves a bit of my support.I still need to watch the movie, I've heard good things.

@DissidentKitty Haven't read them myself, but I've heard the Moomin books have some leanings in that direction. Might be worth looking into.

Does anyone have any good resources on building computers from scavenged parts? I'm having a hard time finding much of anything nearing comprehensive.
