       @xierra099 As a natural red head, I can tell you we don't tan, we burn. Our skin makes all the vitamin D we need, and we don't make use of what the sun gives us very well, so we burn, or freckle. It might actually be why red heads have less freckles as they get older since we learn to avoid the sun.
