@augieray @Bernard I don't think the historical record bears that out. I will hasten to add that the Assange and Daniel Hale prosecutions started under Trump (or restarted in Assange's case) -- but of course Biden has done nothing to overturn these and other miscarriages of justice. My point is to deflate the myth that the "Democrats" are guardians of press freedom and our right to know.
