       @fuxoft Zrythm is licensed under the Apache 2 license. So, if you compile the binary yourself, you are free to use it.The idea behind providing paid binaries is that you are incentivized to make a small financial contribution to the project, while still having the full freedom open source software gives you. You are not forced, but you have to put in the effort.

       I have been very skeptical about people claiming that Dolby Atmos is the future of music and that everyone needs to do their mixes in Atmos now. I mean, when I mix I am anticipating people listening on cheap bluetooth speakers or worse. I am lucky if they are using a decent pair of headphones, and now everybody buys an expensive Atmos system?
