@heiseonline ich finde den Vergleich von heutiger KI mit der Intelligenz einer Stubenfliege recht passend. Sie ist in der Lage perfekt an der decke zu landen, kann einen Raum mit einem geöffneten Fenster nur durch Zufall verlassen.

@tuxedocomputers but why ubuntu based?For me this looks strange, si ubuntu is the most problematic distro.If you prefere stable distro I would use Debian or OpenSUSE as basis. So it is more active and especially Tumbleweed (or upcoming ALP/MicroOS) have done a very good job to integrate KDE/Plasma!

@gnulinux Meist speziell ausgewählte neue Hardware (z.B. bei Notebooks oder dem Desktop mini PC). Beim Server baue ich mir diesen immer selbst und verwende CPU, RAM und Mainboard neu. Gehäuse und HDDs werden nur selten erneuert oder erweitert. Meine ältesten 1TB HDDs welch seit fast 20 Jahre im 24/7 betrieb gelaufen sind habe ich gerade in Rente geschickt. Sie waren in 5 CPU/Mainboard Generationen im Einsatz).

@heiseonline endlich mal jemand der in der Realität lebt. Es wird nie 100% eAutos geben, und CO2 neutral sind sie auch nicht wenn man ein volles Autileben berechnet und das immer noch nicht effiziente Battery Recycling mit einrechnet.

@heiseonline da sieht man wieder wie wichtig es ist. Die Daten auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren und insbesondere Werbung anstatt Bezahlung so weit wie möglich zu vermeiden.Werbeblocker sind damit auch wichtiger teil des Selbstschutzes.

@gnulinux Benutze #openSUSE #Tumbleweed (rolling release) seit es es gibt. Und hatte eigentlich bisher nur kleinere Umstellungsproble die sich recht einfach korrigieren ließen oder sich nach einem der nächsten updates von selbst gelöst haben 👍. Ansonsten den Komfort das man nie ein Versionsupdate brauchte und damit größere oder mehrere Probleme. SW ist immer aktuell und enthält alle Korrekturen.

@tuxedocomputers One question about the installer. Why you use still ext4 as default installation file system? According my experience since some years btrfs has much more benefit and is stable like ext4. Main benefit for the standard user is the snapshot and roll back support, which allows to fix typical errors only with a reboot of the previous snapshot. This works if the snapshot will be used from the installer w/o any backup or other activity from customer side.

@tuxedocomputers why there is no Notebook with #AMDCPU and #AMDGPU in your #tuxedocomputers portfolio? Is there a specific reason to only provide NVidia GPUs which are not properly running with OSS drivers?
