@LordWoolamaloo same. As someone who served alongside a fellow service person, who fulfilled a hugely challenging role in Afghanistan, and who was later killed by a driver updating Facebook whilst driving, it really frustrates me that so many use phones and drive.

@LordWoolamaloo the only way I can understand them is if I assume that they have no concept of respect for anyone outside of their own selves. If people thought about what they were doing and the potential impact, they wouldn’t do it. Pure selfishness. It enrages me.

@futurebirdAbsolutely here for this thread. I have a side gig repairing 70s/80s hifi (more of a hobby) which is fun & keeps my EE practical skills in focus. I repair small appliances for folk in our village when I get asked. I replace batteries and switches in ‘fitness watches’ for runners. All stuff that would end up in landfill. If I can get it working then that’s brilliant for me, them and the environment. Sadly I’ll never make a living doing it, which is why it’s a side gig

For clarity, my one is the pink 3d printed version. I had to rework the size of the hole (!) and the offset from the tooth a little, will get feedback soon on how it performs!
