@dualhammersOwning isn't usually an issue imo. Buying is. That said, I think my rubric is "am I going to miss it after I've forgotten I got rid of it?". Sometimes I'll lock things away for a bit to see if I actually remember them.

@kitYa makes sense ig. I'm assuming there would be a standardized gender-neutral pronoun other than "they/them" by now if it was just about that though so do people who make their own usually identify with some non-standard gender identity? If so, are these pronouns standard or descriptive at all - i.e. should I be able to tell anything about a person based on the neopronoun they use?

@junOh fair. I've been paying for it for a while. I think it's pretty worth it but I get not wanting to. Joplin's decent but I didn't want to bother dealing with syncing stuff myself and I'm not super into markdown.I'd recommend checking out cryptpad if Joplin doesn't work out.

@ink8 Extremely relatable thread. I've been going through the exact same thing for months. At least I've limited myself to just newpipe now but even timelimit apps don't work because I reflexively turn them off no matter how complicated that is to do.
