@futurebird Oh you're right. We can this upside down and just consider that the language of taste is just in fact inherited from the language of smell and not the contrary :3Still we miss some specifics for smells, scents and harmonies.

I just read 2 consecutive posts, one about people growing their own food and the second about self-hosting (and how hard it is for most people). And I think we can really draw nice parallels between the 2. They are both positive things we should aim for, but the entry cost is high and they will never totally replace our shared infrastructures (food production or hosting). (1/2)

It’s easy for people already fluent in any of those scenes to forget how difficult it can be for newcomers to enter. So maybe next time someone tells you “just self-host!” you can answer then “just grow your own food!” Or vice versa.#Selfhosting #homegrowing (2/2)

This bittersweet moment when you realise that, if your hair is suddenly so nice it’s because of the difference in water quality between where you are travelling (Hamburg in my case) and home (Berlin). Because you know that your hair will go back to “normal” when coming back home.
