Was successfully phished into changing a bank password. Highly convincing email. Opened a new browser window, went directly to my bank's website, changed the password, was glad that hardware token 2FA locked out any "move money" functionality.Went back to the email. Noticed change password link directs to some line noise domain. Oh.

GenZ and millennials can't afford homes. They can't afford kids. The structure of the economy has changed, so both have very little hope for a better future. There is nothing tying them to any particular place, or any particular job. There is almost no upside in their financial lives; Boomers and billionaires have sucked most of it out of the economy. And yet, somehow, employers are surprised when younger people treat them the exact way that they have been treated for their entire lives.

This airline is very serious about their safety demo. They make you take off your headphones so you are more likely to listen (in both English and French). Wonder whether that's a good thing or not.

My seat is not equipped with a barf bag. Considering that inflight entertainment on the way over was provided by the woman on the opposite side of the aisle bazooka barfing her way through half of the bags on the plane, I wonder if it's the same aircraft.

My feed is a lot less "cool hax" lately and a lot more "blah blah someone on the internet is a nazi" or "I'm extremely angry about an extremely niche LGBTQ issue" or "you're using mastodon wrong and are a terrible person because of it" which is why I'm using social media a whole lot less.I'm not sure what it is - are cool people doing interesting stuff posting less? Am I following the wrong people? The Mastodon honeymoon phase is definitely over and I need to make a change.
