Tor is upgrading its relay encryption with a new encryption algorithm called Counter Galois Onion (CGO). Upcoming Arti and Tor releases will both support CGO to prevent attackers from tampering with encrypted traffic, adds forward secrecy, and brings Tor's encryption up to modern standards.https://blog.torproject.org/introducing-cgo/
