@PublicNuisance A lot will depend on how the project accepts donations. It's possible to send bitcoin for nearly free (or pennies) via Lightning, or there are less popular alternative currencies which are cheap to use (such as Bitcoin Cash).

@Linux4Everyone This is what I do: KDE Settings's Shortcuts for KWin lets you configure hotkeys to Quick Tile to quadrants/halves. I use Meta+[1,2,3,4,PgUp,PgDown].

Can a hash function serve as a signature function or vice versa?Hashing a message creates a fixed size digest that changes drastically if even a single bit of the input is changed. The hash is used for integrity.A digital signature provides integrity but also authenticity. Anyone can prove the original message was signed by the owner of a public key.
