       @Jeffro to echo a lot of the other replies here, maybe just prioritize interacting with folks on Mastodon for like a week. The issue here tends to be if you don't follow 200+ people it's pretty dead, but you cross that threshold and your TL magically livens up.Cross-posting is generally frowned upon, mainly because while it solves a distribution issue, you're still neglecting discussion via replies.Get a good client, too. Ivory, Ice Cubes, or Mammoth would be my recommendation.

       @tek feels weird to say because I have little love for the dude, but if John McCain were alive and in office this shit would not be happening in the U.S. He held certain flavors of nanotech at bay for a while (insofar as he was not a fan of small machines making big ones, and I kinda wonder a little too often how right he might have been).
