@ThomasWic The "patriots" being the ones got caught up with the haters who orchestrated the "storming" of the Capitol......This was in essence an attempted repeat of the infamous Reichstag fire..... Or more accurately, to create the illusion of it.And as you stated, the "patriots" who joined in fell into the leftists' trap. And made the other 99.99 percent of the Trump supporters who have been peaceful look bad.

@RockyRoad A covered call is shorting a call option for a stock/index "at the money", while holding long equivalent shares of the stock/index... You then let the short option expire, if the stock/index price goes up, you end up selling your held shares at the expiration price, the profit is the "time value" of the option when shorted. If the price goes down, you still profit the shorted option value, and still hold the shares. You can then short another call option for the next expiration.

@RockyRoad I deleted my post, I stated something inaccurate....You look for the nearest "out of money" strike price... It's trading at 135, and up for the day, good time to short one call contract at the 136 "strike"... You let shorted option run to expiration. If price at expiration is above the strike, the option will be exercised, which sells your held stock at strike price. Otherwise the option expires worthless, you still hold the stock. Profit is the option's "time value" when shorted.

And even though defeated in war (Nazis) or economic implosion (Soviets), the seeds of socialism had been planted in American institutions (what Joe McCarthy originally tried to stop), and have since sprouted into the situation we're in currently.......

@ThomasWic "Keys to locks"... I guess this is something I kind of did, in regard to my health... The problem is that early in life, I didn't even know what the "locks" were....I was not exactly healthy when I was young... I was awful in PE, my attention span was awful, didn't do particularly well in school... With what I know and achieved up to now, I sometimes wish I knew what I know now, and do it over again... But also realize that it's impossible- "Wisdom" only develops with time.(Cont.)

(Unless the operation has been proven unequivocally nefarious.) Lying (including false accusations) should NEVER be a reason to ban anyone. This has been the problem with our opposition. (They believe the election being stolen or the Jan 6 "insurrection" being mostly Antifa impersonating Trump supporters are "conspiracy theories.") They've conveniently used this as a weapon to ban people, and I think it's wrong.
