Kdenlive is great. I worked 3 years with it to make TROM II. They have improved the stability a lot for the past few years. From my experience it is the best FOSS video editor. Recommend!

Unfortunately youtube is pretty fast at blocking the IPs of peertube instances....we still count not find a way around for our instance. The feature is amazing, but Google is unfriendly to say it in a nice way...

The can be radically different if the culture pushes them to be, but in fact we have similar needs and mostly same problems. We all need food, shelter, safety, healthcare, access to information and so forth. So yes, we are more alike in that sense and we are all indeed part of a greater story, far greater than any simplistic cultural/religious story humans have invented.

We will be AI-fucked.We usually get registration requests for our Friendica (social.trom.tf) and a way to filter the bots out is to require that everyone sends the reason why they want to join our node before we approve or dismiss their request.It was not very hard to tell if one is a bot since they would have generic messages. But recently we got variations of these messages:i want to try friendica, and found out about trom.tf from this instance. looks like a cool place to start. already on fedi as @dispencerTheir email address is from disroot.org (@muppeth I think you are managing that project no?).I thought it sounds legit if they also let you check their other fedi account. And so I did and this time their profile is a long blabbing one but at least admitting that they are "a thirsty little LLM" (Large Language Model).So yah....we are fucked. These people are ruining the internet. We use our limited resources for good purposes to provide people with a trade-free social network. You see, this attitude is what fuels a lot of destruction in our world.For one we should see each other for who we are: human beings. Jews, catholics, muslims, americans, europeans and so forth, are invented fantasies we promote in this society. We are humans and have similar needs. When we put each other in these simplistic groups it leaves room for hate and abuse.And second, if you wish to kill the ones you disagree with or in your view are bad people, then you will never understand what made them "bad" or where the disagreement arise from. Same environment will produce the same people. Like tobacco creating cancer. How much of this cancer you want to kill?I am sure we can be smarter than this.

I get your anger, but even if you "kill people like me", the same environment will make more of my "clones". Killing is not the solution. We have to understand each other and solve our differences. Else we are a bunch of snakes jumping at each other.I never said things are good enough, actually this society is a mess. I am saying we have to understand where violence comes from, so we can deal with that. As simple as this. Same way when you try to understand what creates some types of cancer instead of always trying to "cut it off" when you catch it.I am unsure you are able to read and understand these things. You are to tense. But well at least you can ignore it.I hope you find some mental stability and ability to listen and communicate.

My laptop broke...cannot charge anymore and I cannot fix it. Long story short I spent so many hours trying to fix it, and I decided it is cheaper and better to buy a used and cheap Thinkpad...I have made a Gofundme in case anyone can help out gofund.me/b8bc330aI have to run a lot of projects and this laptop is really important for me.
