No-one should be “pleased to announce” a conference that is fully in-person.We live in the 21st century and I have attended successful conferences that were 100% online with EXTREMELY successful networking built in.I like travelling, but conferences are not a good way to see the location beyond the conference room and some business district restaurants. They are, however, the perfect petri-dish for picking up an illness, I noticed.#Accessibility#ClimateChange

I’m spending some extended time with a lovely feline friend and Oooooooh it’s so good to have this little one by my side! Vitamin C[at] deficiency is real! (and currently handsomely averted)She spent part of the night sleeping with me and is now giving herself a deep clean next to me on the sofa. @stux @AltTextHealthCheck i really try to do too, but many on the server don’t. i wonder if it is related to sever size: the larger, the lower the percentage.

@todayilearned Upon my return to Belgium I learned that all medication for diabetes is free (insulin, pills,…). My mind is still boggling, 4+ months later.
