       Did anybody write something about the disconcerting sign-up process for #ChatGPT? No link to #EULAs, #DataProtection or #Privacy policies but an immediate request for verified personal data, which, at least to my understanding, isn't technically required for the service they are providing. I would say #OpenAI at least violates the European #GDPR.#DigitalHumanities @dh #histodons

       @petros @rstockm @subugoe Es scheint mir auch wichtig zu erwähnen, dass ähnliche Prozesse an anderen Standorten mit ähnlich drastischen Manifestationen neoliberaler Fetische stattfinden. Ein Beispiel ist die UB der FU Berlin, die aller ihrer digitalen Aspekte beraubt werden soll. Unter der Ägide des Präsidiums und sehr teurer Beratungsfirmen.
