So, mal final den Kalendar und Kontakte rüber zur eigenen #Nextcloud umgezogen. Einzig der Band/Studio-Kalender bleibt aus kollaborativen Gründen dort :(Aber schön, dass das mit DAVx^5 auch reibungslos im Android Smartphone integriert ist.#fuckoffgoogle

Netter Vorteil: NextCloud kann ordentliches CalDAV und CardDAV, im Gegensatz zu Google. Damit kann ich dann per vdirsyncer auch schön ne lokale Kopie vorhalten und sachen wie khal etc benutzen, ohne krampfhaft irgendwelche APIs zu konfigurieren \o/

@west Great news everyone! Yesterday evening we managed communicate with the VOC, and they supported us beautifully to find a good and stable solution for our #cwstage livestreams. We've rolled out the solution this morning. Heute mal statt dem üblichen Griff zu #Django 'ne Ecke kleiner arbeiten und #Flask und #sqlalchemy ausprobieren. Bisher schaut's ganz nett aus. Und bald können die Leute dann bei mir per Webinterface selbstständig ihre Postfächer & Passwörter verwalten. Das DB-Schema von @thomas war schnell umgesetzt :)

Stumpfer Versuch: Hat eins von euch tollen Wesen zufällig noch 2 Riegel DDR3 unbuff. ECC SO-DIMM herumliegen, und würde die für die Infra in einem JuZ spenden wollen? Musste gerade bei den Preisen etwas zusammenzucken, aber der Server für die könnte doch noch ein paar GiB mehr RAM vertragen.

Hm, apparently #letsencrypt now provides mor than 50% of the web certificates.On one hand: FUCKING AWESOME.On the other: Shit. They're getting very powerful and we are centralizing our trust. I think we could reallu use 2-3 new orgs like Letsencrypt, with similar technology and mission statement, but entirely independent.Are there any out there yet?

is it just me, or is IPv4 starting to fall apart?I've seen massive DNS issues on IPv4 at work the last week, across many different carriers, now private as well.If you use v6, all is fine, but on v4? massive packet loss - but only for DNS.WTF is going on?

Hallöchen liebe Chaos-bubble 👋 ,unser Betriebsrat möchte gerne möglichst zeitnah dem Hypetrain der Geschäftsführung zum Thema AI, mit teilweise krass arbeitnehmer-feindlichen und technisch naiiven Vorstellungen entgegenwirken. Dazu wird momentan eine Person mit möglichst viel geerdetem Fachwissen zum Thema AI/LLM/ML gesucht, die gegen Honorar beratend zur Seite stehen könnte. Kennt ihr da wen? @ErikUden just guessing, but maybe the first one is still bookable because the reason for the connection not being reachable is due to a different company for the first part of the journey, so DB is not liable for refunds. Whereas the second connection is fully DB so they would need to refund/remove train restrictions so they avoid that by not selling it?
