       @rolle Great Blog Post. I created some #mastodon accounts myself, heard about self hosting in a podcast and ordered a domain and a hosted instance. So i should be able to move to any hoster and own my user name (i hope) with my domain (paid to another company). But it is more difficult to understand the behavior of the mastodon network for most people i think.

       @Natanox @revengeday i think this is a good decision because normal people don’t take enough time to read how mastodon works. They want to register and try out. Later they will understand and can move or register a second account, if they stay on the platform. I don’t see a problem in this step which can be canceled any time. Mozilla could bring an app which register an account to their server.

       @rolle i still have my twitter account from 2009 but was never much active there. It always felt like the big account‘s got all the attention. That was the big difference joining mastodon: a much more nicer vibe and that a lot is happening here with, by and through normal people, instead by companies or the famous. Besides all the tracking, ads and selling user data. The fewer followers here are still an advantage: that doesn’t attract the famous, advertisers and influencers.

       TimeSplitters 2 was recommended to me by @hush404 (a game from 2002)First i found it in the xbox store then i found out that the 4k version of this game is a easter egg in Homefront (2016)I bought it for 3€ (Steam) and after 10 hours i finally reached the prison where you can find the arcade The game seems to have 10 levels and reminds me of Goldeneye for Nintendo64#timesplitters2 #gaming
