@stereo @Mer__edith @matrix @dalias @daniel @signalapp @heiseonline I have done the self hosting exercise with Matrix (synapse) and XMPP (both ejabberd and prosody) and know what I am talking about. Obviously in the case of XMPP one should be using OMEMO (and how much tested is OMEMO compared to Signal ??, no offense Daniel). Technically Signal is far far superior and way way more tested.
