       I believe we monkey paw'd our desires to have 2FA everywhere. It's annoying when everyone does their own so I have a pile of apps I need instead of just  FIDO2/WebAuthn or standard TOTP.

       @shacker depends on how its implemented. 2FA is just an umbrella term. My complaint is triggered today by Blizzard since you have to use their app. Or by sms but sms is bad too. But they aren’t the only ones. Twitch used to force Authy (which isn’t a bad service, but it’s locked to just Authy).
