@killyourfm @protonmail it worked on Fedora 37 using Gnome.I believe the problem is the compatibility with KDE specifically.

@killyourfm haha me too. My Steam deck is my companion during trips. The desktop mode is really good.

@killyourfm you can reopen the browser and then press Ctrl+Shift+T to reopen the older windows with the respective group of tabs.

@killyourfm well, "better" is not something objective. Any streaming is "cleaner" than a vinyl, without cracking noises, but they are all based in lossy algorithms. This is true since the old days, with MiniDisk using ATRAC, for example. The goal of those algorithms is not to "be better" but instead to be indistinguishable for the majority of people and be smaller at the same time. Sometimes a person will have great ears and audio gears, for those, we have FLAC codec.

@killyourfm oh, sure. But the codec is perfect for human hearing. Any vinyl will sound like crap too without a good mastering.

@killyourfm hey, btw, I was watching this yesterday :)https://youtu.be/Wj24IJezjD8It's a great channel for people who like old school audio gear. This one was exactly about lossy codecs.

@gamingonlinux I just read that post and... I agree with Windows Central.I don't think the point is that "Linux" can't do that. For an average user, it's hard to leave the Steam interface and understand how to install anything but Steam games.I do agree they exaggerate in some arguments, like "Since ROG Ally runs Windows 11, it can do anything a gaming laptop can". But in general, I agree with them. The user must be a nerd like us to install anything but Steam games on a Steam Deck.

@tripop @gamingonlinux man... The Windows Central guys are Windows fanboys who don't know how to use the SteamOS desktop mode. But the Linux people are being fanboy here too.Saying that Lutris or Bottles is better than installing the EA, Ubisoft, Riot, Game Pass, Battle.net, GOG launchers is... Unbelievable.I'll drop the discussion.

@stfn the QWEN 2.5 is the most impressive I saw so far. The 7b runs very fast on mine RTX 3070 and produces really great results:https://ollama.com/library/qwen2.5
