🧵 3/3 I can't believe #CDCsays face mask for measles without specifying n-95. I was reading up on the cows getting bird flu, and what they recommend to people working with animals, healthy or not (ya, they acknowledge asymptomatic!), they actually say NIOSH respirator mask (even recommending fit-tested!) they say a lot of things... So you know when money of big agri is involved and food supply, they all of a sudden remember the science again.. 🧵 4/3 (had to add one more thing:) So they know the words. They know the science. Until now, I wasn't sure that it was intentional genocide of the elderly and ill, a willingness to disregard care for even healthy individuals, of kids even that they push into schools to get people back to work... I wasn't sure their only concerns were the financial concerns of large corporations.. I thought.. nah... That can't be. Looks like I was in a bit of denial myself. I'm awake now.

@futurebird "using in improper ways" and having a "poor understanding of what they are" are definitely things I think we need to explore. I don't know a lot about it but find some uses benign, like feeding it my own written prompt, watching the recording, and checking it with other knowledge (not assuming it is always correct). It can be fun to play with it like a mix between googling something and shaking up a the thesaurus with it. I don't view it as any god that's for sure.

Im not a "hermit on the tundra" and #covid has not "found" me, because I #WearAMask and #CleanTheAir and avoid crowds and unnecessary travel. This disease IS avoidable while still socializing, working, schooling with others. I meet #virtual with people all over the world and it's cheaper, easier, healthier, saves time, and is better for the environment. It's inevitable is Matrix Agent Smith level evil BS.
