@fitheach I had an email yesterday from BT, saying that the site had been "incorrectly classified". @jwildeboer laconica was part of the OpenMicroblogging standard, predating OStatus... that right?I think I was on all implementations of the route from identi.ca to here - laconica thru Mastodon. I started hosting a personal StatusNet instance when the "fragmentation" happened, then a GNUsocial instance, then - when it became necessary to move to Mastodon - I decided I didn't want the overhead of self-hosting that anymore.@evan @cwebber

Creative Commons simplifies things, as it's a mechanism by which you can relinquish some of your rights as the copyright holder, but without losing control of your art.
