@PINE64 I'm considering buying a PinePhone. My other option is the Librem 5 (which costs about $800). Or I could try to build a DIY dumb phone...Why should I buy the Pine Phone?

I just found out about https://openbsd.amsterdam ! They are a OpenBSD VPS provider, and they donate 10% to OpenBSD. They are approaching donating $1000/month to OpenBSD. If you are looking for a VPS, and you like OpenBSD, then you might try them out! I think I am going to try to use it as cheap VPN. #vpn #openbsd

@drewdevault I find myself these days pretty obsessed with Guix. Have you played around with guix / nix? I will admit that apk seems to be much faster at installing packages...

@tyil @drewdevault You are probably somewhat right when you say it shunned ZFS support. They are nervous about violating the license. Still there is an open issue for it.
