@juliajaniszewski My son claims Mastodon is worse than Twitter. He reckons I just haven't looked. Meh. The area of the fediverse where I hang out is much more pleasant than any time I've spent in any Zuckiverse, Elonodon, or Griftergram.I'm not convinced he uses any Fediverse product. During a bad time, he headed down some RWNJ rabbit holes, but is now in recovery 😊

@lowqualityfacts It was an amazing time to be alive. I was lucky enough to attend banana classes after work, where we learned, not only to peel bananas, but many funny things we could do with the peelings. I wore mine as a hat - until a duck stole it, but cool kids stuck them to their boot soles, and slid their way through shopping malls, easily evading security👮♂️. So funny! 🤣

@geordie Cruel, but fair.I'm a boomer, learned modern cursive, and prefer reading screens and print over any handwriting, no matter how neat.It's just easier to read. 🤷

@futurebird As kids/teens, we used that scientific method to determine not only the sexes, but the order and number of children we would have. My great grandmother swore it worked. She was far from alone in that view. In a shocking twist, her soothsexing was incorrect.
