I would, I'd absolutely love to have artwork for all the characters and key moments in my works.

Not a major thing to draw from, but whenever I write an incident where a character suffers minor head trauma I recall what it felt like when I got a mild concussion once.

Oh man this is tough since a lot of the characters I write are already inhuman in appearance although personality wise they are pretty human. I'd maybe pick Ronin since out of all the characters in Renegades he is definitely the furthest removed from everyone else and is a fish out of water (he washes up on a beach with no idea who or what he is or where he is).

I’d probably say length. I notice I tend to write scenes that are too long and sometimes don’t realize how long they are until someone else points it out. Once someone does that, I go back and cut them down, and even then, sometimes I worry that they are still too lengthy.Another I’d say is the characters, sometimes I feel like a DM in DnD where I have places I want them to go, but the way they get to it is not how I initially intended it. When that happens I then have to decide if I want to keep it that way or modify it and if so by how much. There was actually an example in Renegades. A minor character who wasn’t meant to do much besides treat the protagonists' injuries ended up doing a lot more and had more interactions with the group. Sadly I did cut their unplanned backstory because it contradicted some lore and wasn’t a plot point I planned to explore.

HALLOWEEN WOULD YOU RATHER#mindsoween I was watching Dog Soldiers last night (really good werewolf movie btw) and I asked myself a question that I'm not sure how to answer. If you were dropped into an unknown wilderness, which would you rather be hunted by, a vampire or a werewolf? (You only have a rifle and a knife no silver bullets, crosses, garlic or anything either creature is weak to)I feel like I'd rather be hunted by a werewolf, since they're typically less intelligent and more animalistic, meaning you might be able to trick it or hide your scent somehow to evade it. Not to mention, in most media, a normal gun can at least injure them. Plus depending on what vampire rules we're playing by, they might have some crazy abilities up their sleeve that you would have no way to prepare for.Which option would you pick?

If you're going for mystery I think its fine to mislead or put things to try and misdirect the reader (as long as those misdirects make sense besides just being there to throw the reader off and serve some other purpose).

Marketing. I really suck at it. Will spend days and money on trying to find a set of keywords that work for Amazon ads that do not cost me an obscene amount of money before generating a sell.

I feel you on that one. I made a pretty awful mistake in Renegades where I opened a chapter with the phrase "The die had been cast" but my dumb ass had the wrong version of die and spelled it as "dye" and didn't notice it for months!

This from a WIP rough draft, emphasis on rough no edits have been done on this yet as I haven’t finished the draft yet.[ I woke up with a sharp pain in my side and the rest of my entire body. It would’ve been simpler to tell you what wasn’t bruised at this point. I heard the sound of crackling flames. I slowly opened my eyes. I faced a raging fire and large pieces of machinery that I suspect came from the van. I tried to sit up but my ribs hurt like hell and that pain in my side worsened. Looking down, I noticed the piece of metal buried in the left side of my stomach. Part of me wanted to remove it, but that would only make me bleed out faster.Ignoring the pain I forced myself to stand and looked around. We were in the middle of a ruined street. Ahead of me was the main body of the van, engulfed in blue-white flames. I could barely see what was left of the van because of all the fire. I hope the chump we stole this from had good insurance. I looked over my shoulder and saw a massive hole in the side of the mall and few other wrecked cars that were also on fire in a diagonal line to where the van was.“Who’s not dead? Sound off!” I shouted as I drew one of my handguns. ]

I tend to write younger characters who either have no experience or limited experience or they are disciplined in one thing maybe even to the point of specialization and not being as good at other things I throw at them. This may lead even the experienced characters to have to either learn something new, or how to apply what they already know how to do in a different way

It depends, most of the time I tend to imagine a scene. With a major character and from there try to imagine the story leading up to that.

I've only watched 2 reviews of the 50 series cards, 1 being the 5090 and the other being the 5080, the reviews were not great. I was kinda hoping the 50 series would be good because I was hoping it would lower the price of 40 series cards, was considering getting a 4080 since my 3080 is struggling to do 4K, but I might have to drop the res down to 2k or lower some settings and wait.

Lucky you, my 3080 was dying at 4K without frame gen. Even with DLSS it couldn't get 60 at max. I had to lower a ton of settings and drop the res to 2K (which still looks great mind you) still can't get the average FPS to 60.

My 3080 is probably melting right about now. Its trying its best to keep 60fps at 2k resolution with a mix of high, mid, and low settings. I should probably buy it a drink for being a trooper for my amusement at this point
