@r000t Individual users muting instances is fair in my mind, however admins defederating individual users or instances for anything other than extreme cases or technical reasons is malpractice imo. In other words admins should be facilitating interaction but users have every right to interact with whomever they choose as a general rule. @Moon

@wjmaggos Jeff Bezos buying the Washington Post should have elicited more outrage than it did. Perhaps because #Twitter is an interactive platform that it's seen as a more important institution and thus has wider implications for free expression and opinion.

@shrugdealer I think a lot of people (myself included) back when things were kind of getting started I think were largely ignorant of what it was and how it worked. Crypto appeared (at least on the surface) to be a possible avenue of getting power into the hands of ordinary people. Luckily we still have better options like supporting credit unions over private banks.
