@tek I feel like the "at least it isn't worse" mentality isn't helpful in this context. The situation can always get worse in the same way that it can always get better. Instead, we can emphasize that the anti-trans laws in any state, whether it's Texas (29 million people) or Montana (1 million people), are bad.
