It's a horror story: men in Chechnya can beat and murder their wives with impunity, keep the children, and publicly shame their mother-in-laws into begging forgiveness. The leader of Chechnya forced the mother of the victim to apologize on national tv for saying her daughter's husband was the murderer. Imagine that--he kills her daughter and steals her grandbabies. And she has to smile about it on pain of death from the government. That is the level of evil men are capable of. I'm thinking of Timothy Snyder's advice "Do not obey in advance." We are very lucky in the West that that is something we can do. I think it is a good way to honor Madina Umaeva.

hmm. I have stopped shaving my legs. It took over a year for it to grow all in, and I've rather gotten used to it. I think it's kinda neat. Soon I have to go to the doctor and he will have to prod areas on my leg. I am worried he will think it reflects negatively on me, that I won't take care of my health. Don't they put things like that in their notes sometimes? But it feels odd to shave now.

I find I'm just ghosting all my hobby groups because they are so full of TRAs. Now that things are opening up again, and people are starting to meet in person, it's expected I go back to these groups and volunteer. But they are now filled with men who identify as women, and worse, old men who identify as women and then lecture young women about things like breast binding.That's an insidious thing about this catch-all "trans". Old perverted men claim to have something in common with young confused girls on the cusp of womanhood. I don't want to have anything to do with these fuckers
