       @tilvidsDoesn't the video start off on the wrong foot by saying "Mastodon is a Technology" when anyone with a browser can quickly find Mastodon gGmbH?It goes on to explain, showing the common #fediverse logo-diagram and then explains #ActivityPub, while calling it Mastodon. I confess I stopped watching at that point."Mastodon" is not "like email", it is like Hotmail, or Outlook, or Gmail, a wrapper app for the #W3C #ActivityPub standard protocol, and ActivityPub IS very much like email 😏

       @tilvidsI would start with a basic observation l that ISP hosted email, Gmail, whatever it is Apple uses and Hotmail all talk to each other, and then ask, "How is this possible?"I'd follow by asking how both Android and iPhone phones can be used with any telco or ISP, and maybe add that FB Messenger cannot talk to Google Meet or Zoom, and ask, "What if they could?" 😏People aren't as oblivious as some would like to think.

       Is there a recommended #android app for #peertube? #Thorium on #fdroid is more than a year old, and on Google Play it says it isn't released yet…Ideally I'd hope for easy posting and livestreams.

       I get the impression perhaps #Emacs #org2blog may be a dead project? The git pages are teeming with open issues and the instructions for css are ignored or stripped out in transit.But it is SO close.Or it could just be decades of accumulated cruft in my configuration. I'm guessing there are work arounds, like just plunking css directly into my #wordpress theme. That still leaves my footnotes all askew while the Two Wrongs blog continues to look beautiful 😔
