@Graycot Gahhh. It requires Docker, but I have Fedora Server and Podman. It runs in a VM - but not the Red Hat VM manager that ships on Fedora Server, it’s some VirtualBox bullshit. It supports snap 🤮I used to use it on a LAN UnRAID server but it was a pain in the ass to access remotely and tons of HTTPS errors. I’m trying to put it on my hosted server but it’s like they hate Fedora. My only options are bare metal web server install(sounds insecure) or install Docker on my server(bah!).

@paul @Graycot How’d you get the socket to work? Nextcloud requires docker.sock which Podman has no support for, according to the Podman and Nextcloud GitHub and Reddit discussions I looked after.

@paul @Graycot Ah yeah I was trying to use Docker AIO because messing with a bunch of independent containers gives me hives. Reckon that’s what the docker.sock is for. Systemd daemon….uggggh sounds like a lot of work lol. I try and be plug and play with my own stuff because I work 9 hours a day for that rubbish, I don’t need more rabbit holes
