       @bfdi Dass Behörden bei Mastodon, anders als bei Twitter, eigene Instanzen aufsetzen, die Accounts dann praktisch automatisch „verifiziert“ sind und ich ohne Probleme von jeder Mastodon-Instanz aus voll damit interagieren kann, halte ich übrigens für eines der größten Features von Mastodon.Jetzt müssen wir nur noch alle anderen Schnittstellen der Behörden so offen gestalten …

       @wolf @bfdi @jakobIch melde mich „bei Mastodon” an, die Website sagt oben links „Mastodon“, der Client ist ein „Mastodon-Client“, der Bund betreibt eine „Mastodon-Instanz“.Für den *Anwender* ist es ein Feature von Mastodon.Ob das technisch jetzt ein Feature von Mastodon, Fediverse, TCP oder IP ist, ist egal.

       @bfdi @mikka @wolf @jakob Ich klinke mich an der Stelle aus.Mich kostet es zu viel Energie, zu klären, ob die Leute jetzt zu Mastodon oder zum Fediverse oder sonst wohin wechseln (sollen) und wo jetzt das Feature, das ich toll fand, genau zu verorten ist. Sorry. Ich bin raus.

       I used the great service by @tweets_icu which will shut down soon to follow 39 legacy (Twitter) accounts.Thank you, @tweets_icu, for the service you provided. It made my switch to Mastodon a lot easier.Just replaced all with a different instance of BirdsiteLIVE (bird.froth.zone). This propagates some hundred very old Tweets/Toots in my timeline. Ouch.Thanks to whoever runs that site (@sam?), too.

       The one thing I hate about #Mastodon: You do not always see all replies to a toot unless you check on the original server.The web UI of my Mastodon instance should handle that for me.
