I hate how it's always the marketers, the faces of the big, greedy corporations that sell computer hardware and software (the Steve Jobses, so to speak), who get the credit that should be given to the Steve Wozniaks, the people who actually did all the work, who actually put together that hardware (or at the very least, created the internal design and prototypes of the hardware) or programmed that software.

I want to install Windows XP Professional on this eMachines T3882, but the Windows XP installer's UI doesn't display anything beyond the "Setup is inspecting your hardware configuration..."It's just a black screen after that. What the hell is it doing???
