This is messed up 🐦elonmusk. People need to be able to trust their messages are safe, and rolling out a half-baked version of end-to-end encryption, and only for people who pay, doesn't do that. Montana has passed a full ban on TikTok in the state. Not only is it entirely unenforceable, a ban solves none of the privacy concerns presented by TikTok.
