@heluecht @siege The one reservation I have about CEE 7/3 sockets aka SchuKo aka Type F is that they are not polarized. In theory CEE 7/5 aka Type E aka "Eastern European"/French could address this, but there is no standardized assignment of Live and Neutral.In the past this didn't matter much, but with the prevalence of switch mode power supplies and weak reference through Y-capacitors, this does matter!Ever got a tingle when touching your computer and a powered accessory? Reverse the Plug!

@foone At least with the Vista transition there were *very* good reasons not to run that on the early intel tablets. The performance penalty was insane. XP ran very well.
