@grammargirl again, I think there’s some variation between clients; some show a link to tap, others embed a view of the linked content. Either way, this is as close to quote-posts as I know of today. :)

@CStamp @BootsChantilly @mmiasma @RickiTarr It’s a minefield. My adoptive mother was threatened by any nascent curiosity I had. Once her Alzhiemer’s took hold — and the province “opened” adoption records in 2018 — I enquired. Took a year to hear back, & much of what they said was decades out-of-date & irrelevant (if it was ever accurate), but it lead to meeting my mother. Which, in my case, went really well.It often doesn’t.
