@lowqualityfacts As one of the “qualified workers” at the sorting plant I am sorry to let your illusion travel down the line to the hoistway of the residual press. “Anything smaller than a tennis ball does not exist”. “Pick according to the defined categories”. Then, most stuff is down-recycled, and still some tonnes go to foreign beaches (Google the pics!) Deposit-refund systems and wrapless trade are options to slow down the doom. Let the producers take it back!

@lowqualityfacts Germany, mid 80ies: the Greens worked on a proposal to allow the consumers to bring their own containers and leave all packages at the shops. The shops would have delivered the waste back to the producers and the law would have forced them to deal with it. So the producers had a crisis meeting at night, got all drunk and invented the recycling system. “Lets mine the waste for reusables and have a market for them!” Greens retracted. Producers still laughing.

@stux as a second life creature I have longed for splash damage by edit-moved objects since 2008! Now make it so that I have to smack down a monster several times when I do not hit it accurately and I will spend money on that :)
