@daniel I think one methodology we may see going forward might be based on the general conception that #GitHub is the defacto contemporary search engine for #open_source software. At one time this distinction was held by #Freshmeat. That having been said, #Codeberg and self-hosted #Gitea might become the home #forge #repos for projects, while being mirrored on GitHub for visibility, then linking back to say, the home forges on #federating Gitea servers.Your thoughts?⛵@thealexstewart

@james #Fedilab @apps just held a poll about a week ago asking if they should add native support for #Misskey - which would also mean #Calckey and #Foundkey as well.The result was an overwhelming percentage of participants clamoring for support...So I'm thinking you won't have to wait very long 🙂 It's already the very best #Android client for #Fediverse servers, including full native support for #PeerTube, #Soapbox, #Pixelfed, #Friendica, #Pleroma, #Akkoma - basically all of the platforms

@danie10I've never used (and prolly never will) #Whatsapp. As I understand, is only Signal protocol anyway with back doors installed of some form... not that I pay any attention to proprietary products like that.But IMO, #Signal's not gaining any "global standard" status accolades until, at the very least, they remove the #DID requirement, drop #contact_database_farming, and ensure that email is optional too.And then there's the hard requirement that it be #decentralized.#tallship⛵.
