@stux I'm quite uncertain: part of me curious to try this Autopost, but unlike #ActivityPub from @pfefferle it just posts here on Mastodon without giving me interaction with possible comments. Or, I can decide to get Activitypub working then post blog's posts on my personal page here. Don't know.

@stux @pfefferle I'm thinking about deleting the blog from Mastodon.Uno, keeping it up and running just into #ActivityPub and this account is my personal one. So, I can get rid of #JetPack for autopost on Mastodon at least, keeping me all slots for letting me keep social autoposting free feature's limitations sufficient.

@stux For Facebook, is there a free solution about posting? I knew about IFTTT, but I think it is paid. I'm keeping JetPack because I (no, correct, us, we are two bloggers) have some followers there who won't switch to Fediverse.

Compresi gli screenshot della documentazione sui plugin di #WordPress - la userò finché mi sarà consentito usarla, per la privacy? Chiedessi a un aiuto umano sarebbe anche peggio (se non vedi, la privacy non esiste per definizione) già il fatto che prendi un taxi o paghi un accompagnatore ti impedisce di avere l'amante clandestino per esempio. Fate voi.

@ildisinformatico A proposito di riservatezza e vendere. Lo sai quante volte vado a leggere materiale sul Braille e sui sintetizzatori vocali e l'algoritmo di Google e Facebook mi propongono pubblicità di interventi col laser e occhiali da vista? Non sto scherzando e non hai idea di quante risate mi faccio! Però tipo, quando mi lasciai col mio ex, "sganciai" la relazione da Facebook e mi ritrovai un sacco di pubblicità sul dating on line, mandai al diavolo il mondo. (1/2)

C'è pubblicità ovunque, è un dato di fatto. Ma la colpa è nostra. Uso il "noi" perché già vent'anni fa @ildisinformatico ci descriveva il rischio e noi 19-20 enni degli anni 2000 spavaldi e felici dell'Internet gratis. Mi ci metto pienamente in mezzo. Ora 20 anni più in là che creo anch'io - non su YT ma su #WordPress -, vedo frustrazione nel sapere che tutti leggono gratis e magari copiano pure. Ma non faccio la piangina perché... @ildisinformatico Ecco vedi, il nickname di vent'anni fa te lo ricordi ancora. Ghe sbocio, è dal 1999 che ti seguivo in newsletter. E il nick è dal 2003 che ce l'ho. Volevo cambiarlo in quello attuale (elettrona) ma quello lo tengo solo per l'altro progetto blog mentre "talksina" lo tengo col profilo personale anche se non mi piace più, per farmi riconoscere da chi mi conosce nel mondo tech. I am a blind person, and I realize that a video tagged with #accessibility and #inclusion is just music and some voices, without any audio-descriptions in it - and it concerns world assistive technologies day... I could laugh, if the situation wouldn't be such a cringe! I definitely won't share it around. Unlock the everyday? Start from making campaigns accessible to EVERYONE, otherwise it's "do what I say, but not what I do".

Someone thinks that #AltText can be a way to expand Mastodon's 500 characters limit. WTF, for me #blind user this statement is like someone saying that bathrooms for people with #disability are useful to have sex in them, because they're spacious and mostly free. And after all this, someone still says I am the one aggressive and who bothers other people. Me.

@wjmaggos I would like to use my blog author's account as main fediverse interaction place, but I fear we aren't there yet. The "Enable Mastodon apps" plugin to allow you to write from a Mastodon client, has a bug (issue 273 on github) -> enable mastodon apps. From your blog, then, you should go to a fediverse post of interest, and then post a content-type with bookmarklet or with the reply block. #WordPress #ActivityPub
