       @stux Hope is a beautiful sentiment in us humans, specially im good people. But it’s so obvious that what they are planning is a trojan horse.Even if they don’t know how to right now, it’s certain they don’t want the fediverse to thrive, it’s bad for their bottom line, and they’ll do anything to stop it.

       @anderspuck @randahl I am sure the predictions western pilots made were based on their safety standards - which amounts to abiding by the manufacturers’ MEL (minimum equipment list, the manual determining lowest acceptable redundancies). And I bet russian pilots are being pressured to significantly lower theirs. Those machines can take a lot before they start actually failing.
